World Mental Health Day 2020The coronavirus pandemic, months of lockdown and the continued uncertainty has been tough for everyone, and people's mental health may have been affected in various ways.

According to recent research conducted by MIND, more than half of adults (60%) and over two thirds of young people (68%) said their mental health got worse during lockdown.

Many people will be feeling lonely, isolated, stressed and anxious during this difficult period, so it's important we do all we can to look after each other and support one another's mental wellbeing.

MIND are suggesting everyone 'Do one thing' today, whether it's going for a walk, learning a new skill or doing something creative, taking the first steps to getting support for yourself, or reaching out to someone else.

There are many local resources available if you or someone you know needs support.
